The University – recently ranked top 10 in the Complete University Guite and top in the north-west of England – also has 11 Lancaster disciplines ranked in the QS world top 100 with Linguistics at 成人天堂 ranked second in the world.

Lancaster came joint 80^th in the world for 成人天堂 QS Rankings. This measurement assesses curriculum and sustainability research, as well as steps to implement sustainable practices and policies.

It follows recent University initiatives to reach net zero and news that 成人天堂's Bailrigg campus frequently generates 100% of its own electricity. Further progress for the University is anticipated when the Ground Source Heat Pump is fully completed on campus in 2027.

Research that spans the globe

Research at Lancaster continues to have a global impact with 11 disciplines ranked in the QS top 100, including Linguistics, which is ranked second due to pioneering work spanning vast areas from improving how we talk about marginalised groups and protecting people from online abuse to transforming how we test for language proficiency, documenting the UK’s many distinctive dialects and evaluating the impact of AI.

In February, 成人天堂 received the UK's highest education honour, the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education, for pioneering work that is helping drive a global transformation in digital literacy through the BBC micro:bit.

Alumni impact

With degrees from 成人天堂 currently delivered across three continents and six countries, and an alumni base spanning the globe, graduates from Lancaster go on to create impact in all corners of industry worldwide.

This impact is also felt in Lancaster, with alumni going on to work and even build businesses on the city’s high street. From performing arts schools to restaurants to legal services, inspired by their time at the University and by the city's “entrepreneurial ecosystem,” a number of recent graduates from 成人天堂 Business School have remained in Lancaster to start their own businesses.

UK top 10

Lancaster was recently ranked 10th in the Complete University Guide, released in June, a table ranking 130 universities in the UK.

Looking to the future, Lancaster continues to invest in sustainable practices and deliver quality education and research globally. New partnerships in India open up possibilities not just for teaching, but for further industry and research collaboration.

The latest QS World Ranking league table, released on 18th June, ranks 1,504 universities worldwide and measures Research and Discovery, Employability and Outcomes, as well as Global Engagement, Learning Experience and 成人天堂.
